Pros and cons of Noisli app for iPhone and iPad
Noisli app good for
First of all the most important thing: The sounds are perfect. Good quality, appropriate variety and no discernible beginning/end of the loops.
What could be improved: The app could need some polish. The volume sliders tend to have problems (e.g. two of them overlap). What annoys me most is that the app does not react to the play/pause signal from the earphone remote and if the earphones are unplugged, the playback does not pause but continues over the phones speakers, which is very annoying. If that would be fixed, the app would be perfect.
I just downloaded this app today and due to its simple design and usage I feel confident I can relay a qualified review.

SWEET! You know when you used to go to Target (or one of those "big" stores) you would see, near the music aisle, a huge box that had CDs you could preview before you bought? And they were, like, wilderness songs and sh*t. And you were always like, "cool, I want this!" But then you didnt want to pay for it. Yeah. Thats what this is like, but its only $2.
I dont know what else to say? I think its really slick that the user can layer sounds to make their own. BUT, hey developers, if I paid for this...why do I only get five (5) slots to save my songs?! Thats crap! The paid version should have multiple slots available and the free version (if you have one) should have limited slots. Not cool, man.
I like how I can control the volume on each individual sound, as well. What if you had a bar that controlled frequency of noises within the song? Like how often the train goes or the bids chirp. Idk...something to ponder.

Im totally addicted to this app. Hard for me to work without it. Offline capabilities are great and the lack of the text editor is not a bad thing cause I already have great ones on my phone.
Cant wait for future sounds, updates and more.
Yet another machine replaced by an iPhone app! This time: A sound generator.
The app is beautifully designed, simple and has lots of great sound effects.
Ocean waves and some seagull cries (separately) would be cool though...
Anyway highly recommended!

Some bad moments
Its been two years, but they still havent bothered flipping the switch that would optimize it for iPhone 6 Plus or 6s Plus.
Glitchy, incomplete , not many sounds at all. Better off going to YouTube than buying this piece of junk. Tries to make you forget you are being ripped off by changing the background color. If this could have actually been developed with a semblance of creativity i would recommend but the creators could have just recorded the noises outside and tried to make a buck. I could fart out a better app than this and add it to the noises.
I like this app, I use it for studying all the time, but there are some annoying bugs that prevent me from giving it a 5 star rating. The volume sliders don’t usually do any thing for one, the tracks make a jarring click when they loop, and when I take out the headphones, it plays the sounds on speaker, no matter if my phone is on mute and do not disturb, very annoying in the library!
Same issues have been going on for months… the developer is unresponsive. The site works, the app is buggy. I think that they are focusing on the site and have given up on the app.
I am not sure why Apple allows app that are no longer being developed in the store.
It has been made way better apps. I will refund it ASAP. 7-8 sound effects are not enough.
