First of all the most important thing: The sounds are perfect. Good quality, appropriate variety and no discernible beginning/end of the loops. What could be improved: The app could need some polish. The volume sliders tend to have problems (e.g. two of them overlap). What annoys me most is that the app does not react to the play/pause signal from the earphone remote and if the earphones are unplugged, the playback does not pause but continues over the phones speakers, which is very annoying. If that would be fixed, the app would be perfect.

I just downloaded this app today and due to its simple design and usage I feel confident I can relay a qualified review. Ahem... SWEET! You know when you used to go to Target (or one of those "big" stores) you would see, near the music aisle, a huge box that had CDs you could preview before you bought? And they were, like, wilderness songs and sh*t. And you were always like, "cool, I want this!" But then you didnt want to pay for it. Yeah. Thats what this is like, but its only $2. I dont know what else to say? I think its really slick that the user can layer sounds to make their own. BUT, hey developers, if I paid for this...why do I only get five (5) slots to save my songs?! Thats crap! The paid version should have multiple slots available and the free version (if you have one) should have limited slots. Not cool, man. I like how I can control the volume on each individual sound, as well. What if you had a bar that controlled frequency of noises within the song? Like how often the train goes or the bids chirp. Idk...something to ponder. Love it!

A fantastic, cleanly designed app in every way but one huge one: it needs to pause/stop the noise when the headphone jack is unplugged. Compared to most iPhone audio that stops automatically when you (purposely or accidentally) unplug, Noisli keeps playing loudly until you go through the clumsy steps of unlocking your phone, opening the app, and stopping the sound manually. At best its inconvenient, at worst it can be very embarassing to unplug and blast a quiet room or train car with loud noise from your phone.

Its been two years, but they still havent bothered flipping the switch that would optimize it for iPhone 6 Plus or 6s Plus.

Im totally addicted to this app. Hard for me to work without it. Offline capabilities are great and the lack of the text editor is not a bad thing cause I already have great ones on my phone. Cant wait for future sounds, updates and more.

I really like that app. I just use it for 30 minutes now, and Im already sure I will use often now. Just I have a bug with the switch control on my iPhone 5S.

Love it, but need more sounds.

Yet another machine replaced by an iPhone app! This time: A sound generator. The app is beautifully designed, simple and has lots of great sound effects. Ocean waves and some seagull cries (separately) would be cool though... Anyway highly recommended!

I love this app to death and I use it all the time when Im studying, but recently Ive been hearing this weird humming noise in the background of the rain option? I mute it but the noise is still there in the background when I turn it on again. Its really quite creepy and Im wondering if theres any way to remix the sound effect so that goes away? Not sure if that made any sense but yeah.

Awesome app, really well designed and simple to use. Amazing for concentration and productivity. Beautiful and just works. Everything including saving preset combos has been thought out. Love this!

I am not very computer literate so saying that this app was easy to use is really saying something. There are a variety of sounds to choose from though having said that I think there could be more choices with human speech involved…such as TV in background, or house dinner party etc. I like having random non repetitive sounds and speech does this better than nature music or white noise.

This is an awesome little app with a clean, simple interface that serves its purpose in creating ambient noise. The abilities to save preset combos and set a timer are exactly what I was hoping for. However, there are a couple things that I felt were missing from the app. Ideas for improvement: 1) Add a music player that allows you to play music from the library on your phone overtop of the noise. In its current state, youre unable to layer the noise and your music at the same time. I really believe this app would benefit from a built-in player like the one seen in apps like "IntervalTimer" in the AppStore. 2) Expanding the noise library. Adding more recordings to the current options to give them more variety and make them sound less repetitive/loopy, as well as perhaps adding new sounds like "city traffic".

Whats the point?

This would be a 5-star app if it didnt have one shortcoming: its a sleep-aid app that operates with a really bright, colourful background. Please give it a night-mode theme so its not so blindingly bright to use when Im trying to get to sleep with it!

This little app is super easy to use. The design is very cute. Love that you can mix the sounds to make the perfect one. Great for trying to fall asleep. The timer is also nice so the sounds stop when you want.

I use this app anytime Im writing or just trying to relax. Totally worth the download. As simple as it is, I still cant believe Ive only come across it now. Five stars!!

Great app, perfect for working, but would also be good for waking up in the morning! Needs an alarm, or to work with the iPads built in alarms.
